Qualifications and Experience
I have worked within physical and mental health for 14 years, in both the NHS and charity sector.
I completed my doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Canterbury Christ Church University in 2014. Since this time I have been working providing psychological intervention for individuals with a range of health conditions including traumatic brain injury, stroke, HIV, ME/CFS, fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, spinal cord Injury, IBS, non-epileptic seizures and chronic pain.
I have recently completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of Bristol (2022). I am also a teaching associate at Salomons Centre for Applied Psychology, where I teach sessions related to sexuality in neurological conditions and approaches to Disability within neuropsychology.
I am registered with the Healthcare Professionals Council (HCPC) - My registration is PYL31521
I have completed additional workshops and professional development in ACT, Psychodynamic Interpersonal Therapy, Neurobehavioural Intervention and working therapeutically with individuals with brain injury. I am committed to further learning and professional development and have received specialist supervision regarding trauma-informed approaches, neurodivergence and gender diversity.
